Our History
When Rent.com joined the eBay family in 2005, we recognized that our combined customer base had a common need for a nationwide moving quotes provider for people who were moving or people who needed to move something they purchased online. By leveraging Rent.com's and eBay's Internet expertise, we realized we could fill this need. The result is GigaMoves, a separate, wholly owned subsidiary of eBay. We are dedicated to providing an optimal customer experience for moving service providers (including full-service movers, rental truck companies, auto transport services, and providers of storage and boxes), moving customers, and websites that wish to provide moving quotes to their customers.
